Avengers Assemble is an animated television series based on the comic
book super hero team known as the Avengers, which premiered on May 26,
2013. Worldwide, the series airs on Disney XD.
On July 26, 2014, the series was renewed for a second season. Joe Kelly
confirmed it is in production.The first half of the season deals with
the team facing Thanos as he competes with them to obtain the Infinity
Stones. A five-episode arc details the return of Ultron and his plans to
exterminate the human race. There is also a subplot detailing the
arrival of the Squadron Supreme.
